Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Consultant to provide competent support, advice and services to a range of clients. In this role you will profile risks, develop safety protocols, and assist clients to achieve compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health and safety assessments across various sites to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with regulatory standards.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare detailed report writing on safety audits, incident reports, and compliance documentation for management review.
- Provide training sessions on health and safety procedures, emergency response, and accident prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in health and safety consultancy is essential.
- The successful candidate will be expected to have the appropriate skills to recognise identify each clients needs and communicate professionally and effectively in their role as safety advisor.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards applicable to a diverse range of workplaces.
- NEBOSH Diploma and NEBOSH Construction Certificate preferable.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately..
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with management teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and managing multiple clients.

Pay: £250.00-£350.00 per day
