Head Chef – Lead the Relaunch of a Destination Brasserie
Crookley Park Estate is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen during an exciting period of growth and redevelopment.
The business is being repositioned as a modern European brasserie and events destination, with a strong focus on quality ingredients, seasonal cooking, Sunday lunch, weddings, and private events.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a kitchen, build a team, and help shape a new hospitality concept from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations
- Recruit and develop the kitchen team
- Deliver consistent, high-quality food standards
- Manage food cost and gross profit targets
- Support menu development and seasonal changes
- Oversee health and safety compliance
- Work alongside ownership and consultancy team during implementation
About You
- Previous Head Chef experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience within brasserie, premium casual dining, or hotel environments
- Commercially aware
- Passion for seasonal produce and modern European cooking
- Experience with events and functions desirable
