Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round
Shift: Split shift – morning and afternoon

About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Site Manager to join our hardworking and skilled support team. The successful candidate will be committed to the Academy’s ethos and values and take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-maintained school environment.

This is an important role with responsibility for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the school site. Duties will include maintenance, janitorial and cleaning services, key holding, alarm response and ensuring the site meets required health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will also interact positively with pupils and parents and take pride in the school and its environment.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have high standards and take pride in their work.
- Ensure the school site is maintained to an excellent standard.
- Be able to identify and prioritise their own workload, approaching tasks with a “can do” attitude.
- Have proven DIY and repair skills to undertake general maintenance tasks.
- Undertake janitorial and cleaning duties.
- Be able to engage with and manage external contractors.
- Have an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and work within them.
- Use the school’s online Health & Safety management portal. Training will be provided, but good IT skills are required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to training and professional development.
