We’re seeking a proactive and organised Resource Assistant to support our Engineering department. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring our workshops and learning environments operate efficiently and safely. Working closely with lecturers, specialist practitioners, and students, you’ll help deliver a high‑quality practical learning experience aligned with industry standards.
- Manage and maintain engineering equipment and resources, ensuring they are safe, operational, and ready to support high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Prepare and organise materials, consumables, and equipment for practical sessions, enabling smooth delivery of curriculum activities.
- Operate and maintain stock control systems, including receiving, checking, storing, and monitoring equipment and materials.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient learning environment by adhering to maintenance schedules, health and safety standards, and security procedures.
- Provide administrative support and demonstrate initiative in maintaining an organised, clean, and well‑run curriculum area.
