Your Role at a Glance As a Senior Shift Supervisor, you'll support and deputise for the Senior Shift manager and oversee daily packing operations, motivate your team, and ensure everything from food safety to quality control is top-notch. You'll be a key part of our friendly team, working closely with bakers, drivers, and other managers to keep things running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support the packing team during shifts to meet daily goals.
- Supervise operations and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and coach team members to build skills and a positive working culture.
- Keep an eye on quality, making sure products are packed to perfection.
- Work with other teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Manage rotas, holiday requests, and shift approvals.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Carry out quality checks on all baked goods before dispatch.
What You Bring
- Ideally 2+ years of team leadership or shift management experience, in hospitality, production, or food handling.
- A solid understanding of food safety practices and high standards of cleanliness.
- Confident communicator who can motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Cool under pressure, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering excellent service.
- Proactive, hands-on, and reliable – you lead by example.
