Job Duties:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve business efficiency, productivity and profitability.
- Monitor business performance using financial and operational data to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee workforce planning, staffing structures and resource allocation across the business.
- Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures and quality assurance standards.
- Manage procurement, inventory control and supplier performance to optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, expenditure and financial performance, recommending measures to improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, allergen and regulatory requirements.
- Lead staff development and performance management across operational teams.
- Coordinate the implementation of operational systems and business improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with external suppliers to support operational planning and business growth.
Lead sales, marketing and business development initiatives to increase revenue, expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
Salary: £75,000 per annum for 37.5 hours per week.
Skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Minimum of three years' senior operational or functional management experience within the hospitality sector.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline. Proven experience leading business operations, commercial strategy and organisational performance.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse operational performance and implement business improvements.
- Strong leadership qualities with a natural ability to structure team shift patterns and keep staff organised under pressure.
- Experience implementing operational compliance systems, including food safety, health and safety and quality assurance procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, corporate governance and operational risk management.
