Vehicle Body Builder / Production Operative

Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, we are looking to expand our manufacturing team with both skilled and semi-skilled Vehicle Body Builders and Production Operatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial vehicle bodybuilder specialising in the production of high-quality vehicle bodies for a wide range of customers and applications.
About the Role
Working as part of our production team, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of commercial vehicle bodies, including:
- Luton box bodies
- Low-floor box bodies
- Curtain-siders
- Refrigerated vehicles
- Bespoke vehicle body conversions
You will work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, timber, plastics, and composite body panels, helping to deliver vehicles built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced bodybuilders and individuals with transferable manufacturing or engineering skills.
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Vehicle body building
- Fabrication and welding
- Assembly and manufacturing
- Use of electrical and pneumatic tools
- Basic vehicle electrics and wiring
- Reading technical drawings
- General engineering or workshop experience
Full training and support will be provided where required, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop their skills within the commercial vehicle industry.
