We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in a fast-paced aerospace distribution environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring our goods are handled, stored and shipped with care, accuracy and full compliance.
What you'll do:
- Goods receiving
- Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock control
- Labelling of items as necessary (barcode labels and CLP labelling)
- Carefully handle all stock to prevent loss / damage
- Putting stock in correct location
- Maintaining the integrity of the stock location software to improve pick efficiency
- Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with our Quality processes/procedures
- Driving of the forklift in a safe and responsible manner
- Ensure Warehouse is clean and tidy
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years experience working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
- Experience within freight forwarding would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Forklift licenses (Counterbalance, Bendi or JX1) would be advantageous
