We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead software engineering teams, coordinate development projects, improve engineering processes, and support the delivery of reliable, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers and developers.
- Plan and coordinate software development projects from requirements through delivery.
- Establish effective Agile development practices and engineering standards.
- Work with product, design and business teams to define priorities and technical requirements.
- Monitor project progress, delivery timelines, risks and technical dependencies.
- Support architecture and technical decision-making across development projects.
- Promote clean code, testing, code review and continuous improvement.
- Help establish and maintain effective CI/CD and software delivery processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, productivity and software quality.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance development and career progression within the engineering team.
- Communicate technical progress and project risks clearly to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing or leading software development teams.
- Strong professional experience in software development or software engineering.
- Experience delivering software projects in an Agile environment.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with modern software development practices, code review and automated testing.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, databases and CI/CD processes.
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to balance technical priorities with business requirements.
- Experience mentoring developers and supporting their professional growth.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with modern web technologies and APIs.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and automated deployment.
- Experience working with distributed or hybrid engineering teams.
- Relevant technical qualification or equivalent professional experience.
