Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £48,691 per annum to £53,725 per annum (London weighted salary) or £42,668 per annum to £47,406 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience.
Grade: 9
Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our Building Safety Team at L&Q:
L&Q is one of the UK’s largest housing associations and providers of social and affordable homes. We house around 250,000 people primarily across Greater London and Greater Manchester. Our purpose is simple – to provide social homes and landlord services that everyone can be proud of.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Building Safety Team within the Property and Investment Directorate, who are completing one of the largest cladding remediation programmes of external wall systems in the UK. You will be a key part in helping to prioritise essential cladding projects as L&Q continue to programme remediation works through our Major Works and Development Teams in London and the North West.
As a Project Manager you will work closely with our existing Project Manager, Technical Manager with support from Technical Coordinators. Gathering building safety information from our entire property portfolio, as defined by the L&Q Fire Strategy for Cladding Inspections / External Wall Systems (EWS) including all associated tasks and activities.

Your impact in the role:
- Manage complex internal and external projects, utilising strong project management skills and a detailed knowledge of building construction, safety and compliance
- Responsible for monitoring remedial actions, working with team coordinators take responsibility for collating, issuing and monitoring remedial works issued to stakeholder teams in response to fire precaution matters
- Provide regular reports on performance and escalate any matters of concern in terms of adherence with required time scales for completion.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent project management skills and / or experience
- Experience in managing contactors and consultants. Evidence of leading complex Building projects
- Ability to use the full suite of Microsoft Office package including advanced Excel
