Crowther & Shaw Limited is a long established business based in Huddersfield with an excellent reputation within the commercial refrigeration & air conditioning world.
We are currently looking to recruit refrigeration/air conditioning engineers to a number of roles.
We offer stable long term employment working on established contracts with a good terms & conditions package as well as support from a management team who have all worked in the industry.
Position 1 - Service & Maintenance Engineer - West Yorkshire
The role is northern based mainly covering the M62 / M1 / A1 corridors
You must have the ability to work on a wide range of commercial / light industrial refrigeration equipment from cabinets to coldrooms through to multi compressor packs as well as the whole range of air conditioning systems. Knowledge of AHU and chillers would be beneficial.
Maintenance will form part of the role although we do employ maintenance engineers to cover most of that work.
The role includes being part of our standby rota, currently 1 week in 6.
Door to door pay
Position 2 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Installation Engineer
We are looking for engineers who are able to install & commision refrigeration systems up to 50kW as well as the whole range of air conditioning systems.
Ideally West Yorkshire or nearby based as most of this type of project work is in the northern region.
Occasional working away will be required as would an ability to diagnose and repair systems.
Door to door pay
Position 3 - Air Conditioning Installation Engineers
This position will suit a specialist air conditioning engineer, or a pair of engineers used to working as a team.
The role will include some working away, mainly in the South of England.
Door to door pay
All applicants will ideally have a minimum 5 years experience as well as holding current refrigerant handling, trade qualifications and a UK driving licence.
You would be expected to have a clean DBS check or to pass this within 1 month of joining us.
