Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Aluminium Window & Door Processor / Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed quotations, and processing aluminium window and door orders to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, maintain quality standards, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients. Duties
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise cost estimates for aluminium windows and doors
- Prepare detailed quotations that include material costs, fabrication, installation, and any additional services
- Process incoming orders by verifying specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines to ensure accuracy
- Raise purchase orders from job bill of materials for all items that are required to be manufactured, and agree lead times
- Collaborate with suppliers and other manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing and lead times
- Monitor and implement cost control measures throughout the production process
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet quality standards
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, orders, revisions, and project documentation for future reference
Requirements
- Proven experience in aluminium window and door processing or estimation within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Strong understanding of aluminium fabrication processes, materials, and hardware components
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Skilled in cost control techniques to optimize project budgets without compromising quality
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Proficiency in Business Micros Evolution software and Smart Systems V6 estimating / production software or relevant CAD tools is a plus,
