Duties
- Greet patients and customers warmly, providing excellent service and guidance on medication pick-up procedures
- Assist in verifying prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness before dispensing
- Support pharmacy technicians with medication inventory management and restocking supplies
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently at the counter
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant dispensary areas in accordance with safety standards
- Answer patient inquiries professionally, providing clear information about medication usage and pharmacy services
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow during busy weekend hours
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role preferred
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills for managing prescriptions and inventory systems
- Must be available to work on Saturdays consistently; flexibility for additional hours is a plus
