Partridge Lakes is looking for an experienced and reliable Grounds & Maintenance Operative to join our team.
This is a hands-on outdoor role responsible for maintaining our grounds, lakeside areas and wider site to a high standard, as well as supporting with general maintenance and event preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, strimming and hedge cutting
- General gardening and vegetation management
- Maintaining paths, walkways and outdoor areas
- General repairs and site maintenance
- Preparing the grounds for events and seasonal activities
- Moving equipment, furniture and materials
- Litter picking and keeping the site clean and tidy
- Identifying and reporting maintenance and safety issues
- Carrying out general practical tasks across the site
About you
Essential:
- Previous professional experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping or a similar role
- Full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and tools
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out a hands-on role
- Takes pride in maintaining a high standard of work
