Tucked away on Crawford Street in the heart of Marylebone, The Beehive is the
revival of one of the neighbourhood’s oldest pubs, brought back to life under
Irish family ownership with decades of experience in delivering hospitality of

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Junior Barman to join our
team at The Beehive. This is an entry level position and full training will be
provided — what matters most to us is your attitude, your warmth, and your
willingness to learn. You will work alongside our experienced bar team,
developing your skills in a quality-led environment and learning what it truly
means to deliver Irish hospitality at its best.
Wage & Package

Key Responsibilities
– Assist the bar team in delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with The
Beehive’s standards of Irish hospitality
– Serve drinks accurately and efficiently, learning the correct pour and presentation for
all products on the menu
– Develop a solid working knowledge of our drinks menu including draught beers,
spirits, and soft drinks
– Keep the bar clean, stocked, and well presented throughout your shift– Assist with restocking, cellar runs, and general bar preparation duties
– Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
– Engage warmly and genuinely with guests, making every person feel welcome from
the moment they walk in
– Support senior members of the team and take on feedback as part of your ongoing
development
– Uphold all licensing regulations including Challenge 25 and responsible service of
alcohol
What We Are Looking For
– A genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and people — this is the most important thing
– A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
– Some previous bar or customer-facing experience is essential
– Good communication skills and a natural warmth with people
– Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
– The ability to stay calm and focused during busy service periods
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
– Full right to work in the United Kingdom
A Note on Development
At The Beehive we take the development of our team seriously. This is an entry
level role. We are committed to training our junior staff properly — from the
perfect pour of Guinness to a full understanding of the bar and cellar — and we
actively look to promote from within as the pub grows.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
