Custom Glaze is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Window & Door Fitter's Mate / Trainee Installer to join our installation team.
The successful candidate will work alongside one of our experienced Window & Door Installers, learning the trade while assisting with the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, conservatory roofs and roofline products.
All of our installations are carried out on domestic properties, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is courteous with customers, and understands the importance of leaving every home clean and tidy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the glazing industry, with full training and opportunities to progress into a fully qualified installer.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, conservatory roofs and roofline products.
- Work alongside an experienced installer, learning industry best practices.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers' homes.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
- Able to work in a clean and tidy manner.
- Good practical skills and confidence using hand tools.
- Excellent timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
- Must live in Milton Keynes or Northampton.
