Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with food and drink service, and supporting the smooth operation of our hotel restaurant and food and beverage department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is desirable but not essential, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. - Approx. £250 - £400 per month in service charge (paid monthly)

- Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables efficiently
- Support food preparation activities as required, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including dining spaces, counters, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to guest needs and answering queries
- Assist in catering events or special functions as required
- Support the team in maintaining stock levels and restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including weekends if required
- A genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service and hotel guest experience.
