Ty Mair care home is a family run business and as part of our catering and hospitality team you'll be expected to provide high quality, nutritious home cooked food and hospitality to help us support our residents in leading the most fulfilling lives. We'll rely on you to create dishes that not only look and taste delicious, but that also reflect each individual's likes, dislikes and dietary needs. You will assist in managing the kitchen and ensuring the day to day running of the kitchen is managed efficiently. You can also expect to play your own part in creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.
About you:
To join us in this role, a valid Food Hygiene certificate is essential.
Previous experience as a cook is also essential.
Experience working in a similar environment is preferred.
An understanding of the differing diet textures in care homes is preferred.
You'll also need to combine creative flair and nutritional understanding with a personable approach and a genuine interest in our residents.
