Due to the continuous growth of a well-established global manufacturing company in the Rotherham area, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator, to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Operations, day to day responsibilities could include:

Operate and monitor automated production machinery to ensure efficient production.

Carry out machine setup and formula changes in line with production requirements.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.

Manage product changeovers, including switching between small and large cylinder sizes.

Adjust and monitor GSM (material thickness) settings to achieve product specifications.

Identify and report any machine faults, quality concerns, or production issues.

Maintain accurate production records and complete relevant documentation.

Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.

Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.

Undertake training on additional automated machinery to develop multi-skilled operating capabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop there existing machine operating skills. This role would suit anyone that has worked as a machine operator, setter operator or machinist in a fast paced manufacturing company.
You will need to have;

Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and production specifications.

Basic numerical and mechanical aptitude.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience ideally.

Willingness to learn and operate a range of automated production machines.

Monday – Friday AM/ PM 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and Sunday - Thursday10pm – 6am rotating.
