Repairs Planner
Coordinating Repairs and Maintenance Services
We're recruiting an experienced Planner to join a busy Repairs Team, supporting the effective scheduling and coordination of maintenance works for direct labour teams and supply chain contractors. This role is key to ensuring repairs are planned efficiently, appointments are managed effectively, and customers receive a high-quality service.
This role is ideal for an organised professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams, and provide essential support to ensure smooth repairs service delivery.
About the Role:
As a Planner, you'll coordinate repairs and maintenance activities by scheduling works, managing appointments, and acting as a key contact between customers, operatives, contractors, and internal teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Planning and coordinating repairs works for direct labour teams and supply chain contractors
- Scheduling and managing repair appointments to ensure works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers regarding repair enquiries, updates, and appointment arrangements
- Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and customers to resolve issues and support effective service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records of repair requests, appointments, work progress, and job status using internal systems
- Providing general administrative support to the Repairs Team
- Supporting the team in delivering an efficient repairs service and maintaining strong customer satisfaction levels
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for an organised and reliable Planner who can coordinate workloads effectively whilst maintaining excellent communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
You'll Ideally Have:
- Previous experience in repairs planning, scheduling, or a similar administrative role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good communication skills with customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Ability to work accurately and maintain detailed records
- Good IT skills and confidence using administrative systems
- Previous experience within housing repairs or property maintenance services (desirable)
- Experience working with direct labour teams and external contractors (desirable)
- Knowledge of repairs management systems and processes (desirable)

Pay Rate: £15.18 per hour (PAYE)
