Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring accuracy in billing
- Restock supplies regularly to keep the bar fully equipped for busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times and special events
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations with precision
- Excellent communication skills, including serving guests professionally and working effectively within a team
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Pay: £12.71 per hour
