Due to business growth, we have an opportunity to recruit a Warehouse & Quality Control Operative to join our Operations Team. This is a hands-on role combining quality checking of incoming goods with general warehouse duties.
A key part of the role will be checking furniture and other products delivered into our warehouse from a range of suppliers. You will check that quantities, dimensions, finishes and general condition meet the required project specification. Where an issue is identified, you will report it promptly to the designated Hill Cross Project Manager so that it can be dealt with before the product is sent to site.
Alongside the quality checking responsibilities, you will support the wider warehouse team with receiving, picking, assembling, loading and general housekeeping. The role is varied and will suit someone who is practical, organised, reliable and has a good eye for detail.
