Join our Delivery Team at L&Q:
This is an exciting opportunity to join L&Q's Major Works team and play a key role in delivering high-profile projects that improve residents' homes and communities. You'll work on complex, multi-million-pound programmes that have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, building safety, and the quality of our housing stock. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful change, drive innovation, and influence how major works projects are delivered across the organisation.
You will report to the Senior Partnership Manager and ensure all programmes and work streams are delivered to a high standard within budget and time frame to achieve high customer satisfaction. This could include planned maintenance works, such as kitchen & bathroom renewals, and external works including roof renewals, windows and doors and the like. It could also involve M&E works and Complex Projects.
You will need to be a good leader and have excellent communication and people skills to motivate your team. You will be experienced within a major works team previously and have a good understanding of the delivery of planned programmes and construction activities and processes.

Your impact in the role:
As a Partnership Manager, you'll lead the delivery of major works projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as the key link between residents, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, you'll drive project performance, manage risks, oversee budgets, and champion an excellent resident experience. Your leadership will help deliver value for money, strengthen partnerships, and support L&Q's strategic objectives.
We're looking for an experienced project professional who can confidently manage complex programmes and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. What you'll bring:
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams
- A recognised project management qualification (such as APMP, Prince2, or equivalent experience)
- Strong project planning, risk management, and contract management expertise
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and costs
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and external partners to deliver successful outcomes
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent IT literacy, particularly using MS Office including MS Excel and MS Project
- A customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality services for resident
