Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to children and young people within the residential setting.
- Ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Support children with day-to-day activities and help create a positive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with activities that promote personal development, social skills, and independence.
- Help maintain and develop positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a residential care setting.
- Ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children and young people.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Flexibility to work on a bank basis, including evenings, weekends, and nights as required.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with this if necessary).
