We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Romsey. This is a hands-on, varied and physically active role suited to someone reliable, practical, and motivated to be part of a growing business.
The Role
You will be part of a small, supportive team responsible for keeping warehouse operations running efficiently and ensuring customers receive their boats and parts on time.
This role is physically demanding and involves regular lifting, moving stock and being on your feet for most of the day.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, check, move and store incoming goods
- Pick, pack, label and prepare orders for dispatch
- Support the shipment of over 3,000 boats per year
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas
- Carry out quality checks and report discrepancies
- Occasionally deliver stock across the UK and Europe
- Support the Site Manager with day-to-day operational tasks
What You will Need
Essential:
- Good level of physical fitness and comfort with manual work
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience towing trailers
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Practical, flexible approach with a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic paperwork and communication skills
Desirable:
- Forklift licence
- Interest in sailing or marine products
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
