We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to carry out all aspects of work. We require gold card, 18th Edition , 2391 and cscs .The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters to carry out tasks safely and effectively.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and other specialised equipment required for installation or repair work.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project or repair task.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a professional setting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current 18th edition electrical safety standards and regulations is essential. Candidates should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on varied projects across different locations.
Pay: £220.00-£300.00 per day
Experience:
- Electrical engineering: 8 years (preferred)
