Ground Worker
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking Ground Worker to join our team. The role involves working on a variety of driveway, patio, landscaping and groundwork projects.
Previous experience and a valid driving licence would be an advantage, but neither is essential. We are happy to consider applicants who are hardworking, reliable and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with groundwork, excavation and site preparation
- Help with the installation of driveways, patios and landscaping projects
- Lay paving, slabs, kerbs and other materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools and small machinery where appropriate
- Load, unload and move materials around site
- Assist experienced ground workers and machine operators
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
- Follow instructions and all site health and safety procedures
- Carry out general labouring duties as required
Requirements
- Groundwork, paving, landscaping or construction experience is preferred but not required
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
- Experience using hand tools, power tools or machinery is an advantage
- Must be physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely

Pay: £15.76-£22.49 per hour
