Luckin Kitchens are seeking for help with our manufacturing and production in our purpose built workshop in Arundel. The role we feel would be ideal for candidates looking for short term or part time work.
We are a small family business that specialise in handmade kitchens, cabinetry and interiors. We fully design, manufacture and install all of our work, and are currently seeking help in the workshop.
Applicants would ideally have 2-3 years experience, and would come with a handful of skills in both modern woodworking machinery and hand tools. We are looking for a keen, reliable and hardworking applicant who would like to get more industry experience, or is looking to further their career in the field.
Duties
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to design specifications and design drawing requirements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform joinery techniques to assemble cabinet components accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and finished products as required.
- Carry out furniture preparation or finishing tasks on cabinetry when necessary.
Skills
- Experience with power tools including routers, and along with modern machinery.
- A good knowledge of joinery techniques and fabrication processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
