Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Window Fitter/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with the installation and fitting of windows, as well as supporting various construction tasks on-site. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in building trades and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Duties
- Assist with the measurement, preparation, and installation of windows in residential and commercial properties
- Support the team with general labouring tasks including lifting, manoeuvring, and positioning materials
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers as required
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate fitting of window units
- Support other trades such as roofing, plastering, masonry, or carpentry when needed
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times during site operations
- Assist with site organisation, including material delivery and storage
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or building trades is essential
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with roofing would be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Willingness to learn new skills across different trades within the construction industry
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods

Pay: £15.00-£26.00 per hour
