What will you be doing?
As a Recruitment Consultant within our Driving & Transport Division, you’ll be responsible for developing your own desk, growing client relationships and delivering a first-class recruitment service.
Your role will include:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
- Managing and developing a portfolio of transport and logistics clients
- Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Growing existing accounts and maximising revenue opportunities
- Filling client requirements quickly and efficiently, often against tight deadlines
- Recruiting and coordinating temporary driving and transport workers
- Managing daily workforce requirements around fluctuating client demand
- Ensuring candidates are recruited professionally and in line with all relevant legislation and compliance requirements
- Providing an exceptional service to both clients and candidates
- Understanding your clients' businesses, workforce requirements and operational challenges
- Identifying opportunities to grow your desk and increase revenue
- Working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings a new challenge
Transport experience? We want to hear from you!
Industry knowledge matters.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience or strong knowledge of the transport sector, whether that’s through recruitment, logistics, transport operations, fleet, driving or another transport-related environment.
You'll ideally understand the challenges faced by transport businesses and have a good knowledge of the types of roles, candidates and compliance requirements within the industry.
If you already understand the language of transport and know what makes the industry tick, you'll have a real head start.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with personality, ambition and drive.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous recruitment experience within Driving, Transport, Logistics or Industrial recruitment
- Strong knowledge or previous experience within the transport industry
- A proven track record in business development
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of recruitment compliance
- The ability to build relationships and win new business
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- A confident, energetic and professional approach
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Your own transport
