Cleaner & Food Preparation Assistant – Part-Time

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Cleaner & Food Preparation Assistant to join our team at Taka Taka – Go Greek in Bristol.
This is a part-time early-morning position working three fixed days per week: Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
For the right person, there may also be opportunities to take on additional hours and shifts and progress within the company across our growing network of stores.
Working Hours
- Saturday – starting at 6:30am
- Sunday – starting at 6:30am
- Monday – starting at 6:30am
Availability on all three days — Saturday, Sunday and Monday — is essential and non-negotiable. Applicants must also be able to reliably start work at 6:30am.
Main Responsibilities
The role combines cleaning duties and food preparation, including:
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, preparation and restaurant areas to a high standard
- Cleaning equipment, surfaces and floors
- Ensuring cleaning and hygiene procedures are followed correctly
- Preparing ingredients and food items ready for service
- Washing, cutting and preparing vegetables and other ingredients
- Assisting with general kitchen preparation
- Keeping preparation and storage areas clean, organised and properly stocked
- Following food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
- Supporting the wider kitchen team when required
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate should be:
- Reliable and punctual, particularly for early-morning starts
- Available every Saturday, Sunday and Monday
- Comfortable starting work at 6:30am
- Hardworking and able to work efficiently
- Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Comfortable carrying out both cleaning and food preparation duties
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning, kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate
