Reporting to: Home Manager

Hours: 30 hour per week over 5 days to include alternate weekends 7.30am-2pm
Salary: £13.41 - £13.71 P/H
Location: Bakewell Vicarage Care Home, Yeld Road, Bakewell, DE45 1FJ
Purpose of the position
Bakewell Vicarage Care Home is a well-established, registered home providing care and support. The 23-bed home is situated in the picturesque town of Bakewell, nestled in the heart of the Peak District. The home provides residential care for 23 residents, both males and females, predominantly ages 65 years and above.
As Housekeeper, you will ensure the Home is kept to the highest standards and infection control protocols are followed. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given. We are a very friendly team and have a large network within the group to ensure all staff members are well supported within their role
Responsibilities and duties include:
- following infection control protocol
- ensuring the Home's cleaning regime is followed including deep-clean of areas
- maintaining privacy and dignity for those living at the home
- completing records
