What does the job involve?
- Use of various hygiene machinery and chemicals to aid cleaning
- Ensure all our production equipment in the factory (machinery, belts etc.) are cleaned to the highest of standards
- Communication with your controller and team regarding areas of risk
- Being aware of maintenance issues and reporting where necessary
- Being part of continuous hygiene improvements
- Other hygiene related requirements when required, outwith the factory area
- Ongoing awareness and partaking in chemical training and knowledge building
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in working in the hygiene industry and H&S experience is desirable however not essential as training will be given.
- Physical abilities suited to the role/reasonable fitness levels
- Awareness of time management when on a schedule to return machinery to night shift production teams
- Ability to work autonomously, using initiative to apply common sense
- Open to take guidance from your Controller
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills along with basic understanding of verbal and written English
- Working at height, cherry picker and / or scissor lift experience is beneficial
Shift Pattern:
Sunday - Wednesday: 19:45 to 06:30
Pay Rate:
£12.80 per hour plus shift allowance of £19.27 per shift
£16.00 O/T
