Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims from initial assessment through to resolution, ensuring timely progression of each case
- Conduct thorough investigations into housing disrepair issues, including reviewing property reports, liaising with surveyors, and gathering evidence
- Negotiate effectively with landlords, insurers, and other parties to reach favorable settlement agreements or alternative resolutions
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as claim notices, correspondence, pleadings, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
- Advise clients on their rights, options, and potential outcomes throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with external experts such as surveyors or contractors to support case development
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines
Skills
