Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with established standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas throughout shifts.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Handle delivery of catering orders, including loading, unloading, and transporting items safely.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously.
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and storing supplies efficiently.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all activities.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Ability to serve guests courteously while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Basic cooking skills or culinary experience are desirable.
- Familiarity with meal preparation, serving techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or handling enquiries.
- Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
