Job Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a leading role in the commercial management of our National Highways Eastern Region contract.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you’ll drive commercial performance, manage subcontractor relationships, and ensure robust contract delivery under NEC TSC — all while supporting and developing the wider commercial team.
Duties
- Leading commercial and contractual management of a major highways contract
- Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial performance
- Overseeing CVRs, valuations, claims, and cost control
- Using MMHW, Confirm, and CEMAR to manage risk, value, and compliance
- Improving commercial processes and driving efficiencies
- Acting as a senior point of contact with the client and supply chain
Person Specification
- Quantity Suveryor experience within highways, infrastructure, maintenance, or construction
- Strong NEC TSC knowledge and commercial leadership capability
- Confident managing high-volume, low-value workstreams
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence others
- Happy working hybrid and travelling across the Eastern region
