We are offering an exciting opportunity for Advanced Practitioner -Head and Neck to join our team in a forward thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Sevice.

- The Advanced Practitioner Radiographer will be an expert practitioner in a specific part of the radiotherapy pathway, in one of the tumour site specific clinical teams in Velindre Cancer Centre. An Advanced Practitioner will work within the pillars of Advanced Practice Framework.
- The Advanced Practitioner Radiographer- Head and Neck will be responsible for:
Managing and actively participating in the Radiographer led Head and neck service for patients, including consent and the clinical assessment of patient’s fitness for treatment.
- The post holder shall contribute to enhancing service delivery and service development for a specified tumour site (as per the job plan) by implementing best and evidence-based practice across their specific area of the radiotherapy pathway.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
