PureCare is seeking to recruit a Mental Health Support Worker to undertake night shifts at Springbank House, our brand new residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea, within easy walking distance of the town centre and with good access to local transport links.
We are looking for candidates who have the flexibility to work night shifts (9.30pm to 8.30am) on both weekdays and weekends. We are particularly interested in candidates looking to work a minimum of 3 nights a week (33 hours per week), and we are usually able to offer more hours if desired.
So…what do we do? In short, we help, support and encourage people with mental health issues to lead their lives as independently as possible. PureCare offers high quality residential and community support services in Sussex, Kent and Medway, and offers the best standard of support for its clients. Wherever possible, our aim is to rehabilitate our clients back into a life in the community.
Do you feel you have the skills to offer high quality support to others? We are looking for people who really do care about making a difference to the lives of others and who are committed to the cause.
Day shifts involve supporting clients with their cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, medication, appointments and wellbeing.
Night shifts involve a large element of cleaning and less of the activities outside of the homes. Pay is £12.96 per hour.
You must have the ability to work both by yourself and as part of a team. Common sense and flexibility are imperative along with a good sense of humour! No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Should you wish to apply for any of these posts, please send us your CV.
Please note that a Disclosure and Barring Service check and employment references will be required. We particularly encourage applications from people already registered on the DBS update service.
Helping to rehabilitate and improve the outcomes for people with mental health issues is incredibly rewarding work. If you'd like to play your part in improving the lives of others, be given the training and opportunities to develop a career in care, and join a close-knit, fun and brilliant team, then get in touch today.
