We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and passionate colleague to join our management team as Deputy Manager (Quality & Compliance).This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is ready to progress into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact on the quality, safety, and growth of our domiciliary care service.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operation of the service, support and develop our staff, oversee quality assurance and compliance, and ensure we continue to deliver excepandards.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForAs Deputy Manager, you will:
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
* Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
* Lead and support Care Coordinators, Field Care Supervisors, and Care Workers.
* Oversee quality assurance, governance, and continuous service improvement.
* Carry out regular CareRun audits, reviewing care plans, medication records, daily notes, risk assessments, and documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
* Prepare the service for CQC inspections and support the implementation of improvement plans.
* Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, spot checks, and competency assessments.
* Support recruitment, induction, and staff development.
* Monitor incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and ensure actions are completed effectively.
* Build positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners.
* Promote a positive culture where dignity, respect, teamwork, and high-quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
About You :We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working within domiciliary care.
* Has previous experience in a supervisory, coordinator, or leadership role.
* Has a strong understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and quality assurance.
* Is confident using electronic care management systems (CareRun experience is desirable).
* Has excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care.
* Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and is working towards, or willing to undertake, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.

Pay: £28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
