Sports Centre Duty Manager
Part time / Permanent / All Year Round

Hours: 28.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,060pa based on part-time hours, dependant on qualifications and experience.
The Duty Manager supports our Sports Centre Manager in the effective operation of the sporting provision within the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre with particular focus on the operation of sports facilities, swimming pool, community membership and enquiry administration.
We are looking for an experienced supervisor, preferably within the leisure industry, with good communication skills and a keen focus on providing excellent customer service. Our desired candidate must have strong administration and IT skills and be able to lead a team to support the success of our busy sports centre. Training can be provided for the right candidate - RLSS, First Aid and Gym Instructor.
This part-time role is offered on a fixed term contract (6 months) working 28.5 hours per week, all year round - with the potential to become permanent subject to business needs and performance. The shifts will be scheduled in advance, and will typically be Wednesday to Friday, 2.45pm - 9.45pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break), and Saturday, 8.45am - 6.15pm (with a 30 minute unpaid break).
