ELOQUENT DANCE is seeking a qualified or experienced Dance teacher to join the team of accredited performing arts teachers. The ideal candidate has experience teaching a variety of ages, an enthusiasm for dance, and must be comfortable working with children.
Weekly classes run every Mon,Weds and Saturday.
Candidate must have teaching experience and be confidently able to deliver high energy and engaging classes every week in dance for 3 – 19-year-olds. Candidate must be competent to deliver dance classes in one or all of the following genres:
-HIP HOP AND STREETDANCE STYLES, CONTEMPORARY, ACRO, JAZZ AND COMMERCIAL DANCE.
Candidate suitability:
· A passionate individual with Dance or equivalent performing arts qualification.
· An innovative dance teacher who loves performing and creating new choreography.
· Experience working with children and youngsters.
· Thrives on competition and success of performance.
· An industry professional, with experience in Dance performance and choreography on a professional working stage.
· A candidate eager to deliver their knowledge and expertise through practical teaching to the next generation of aspiring dancers.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of dance classes to all ages and appropriate for all levels.
- Prepare lesson plans on specific styles.
- Work with staff, students and parents to create a positive environment within dance classes.
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent qualification (required)
- Degree in Dance or equivalent qualification– (preferred)
- Teaching qualification (preferred)
