PART-TIME CHEF / COOK
1–2 shifts per week | Permanent role
National Minimum / Living Wage (depending on age and experience) + TRONC
Yamu Yamu is an independent restaurant in Worthing serving Asian-influenced small plates, cocktails, craft beer and sake.
We're looking for a reliable cook, chef or experienced kitchen assistant to join our small kitchen team for 1–2 shifts per week, with the possibility of additional hours during holidays and busy periods.
We care about quality and consistency rather than fancy techniques. Our focus is on great ingredients, good preparation and delivering delicious food every service.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Reliable and organised
- Calm during busy services
- Good food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility and reliability are essential
The role:
- Mainly evening shifts
- Typically 4–12 hours per week
- Wednesday to Saturday operation
- Food preparation and service
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen standards
- Working closely with a small, supportive team
