Sweeper Driver LGV - AM shift 6am - 2pm

We are recruiting for Street Cleansing Sweeper - Driver LGV working on behalf of the Borough Council.
The posts are for driver operatives for up to LGV class 2 vehicles and or mechanical sweepers.
For these posts you will need to hold a full valid manual UK driving licence, with the ability to drive a range of vehicles category C (up to 26 ton) as a minimum, and a valid CPC licence.
Your duties will include, sweeping and removal of controlled waste within the Borough (including roads, pavements and shopping areas) using a range of tools and equipment.
You will also be required to:

Work alone or as part of a team

Transfer waste to the collection vehicle for transport to a waste processing facility

Be on your feet all day and work in all weather conditions

Maintain a courteous and efficient collection service to members of the public and to project a positive and professional image of Enfield Council always

Ensure that any potential danger to yourself, other employees or the public is minimised
-
Have basic literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to complete basic associated paperwork and have the ability to read maps.

Be able to use an electronic device to record data relating to the work carried out
