Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team, working 16.5 hours per week:
Monday 5-8pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5-8:30pm
Friday 5-8pm
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a tidy environment.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored correctly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Occasionally complete end of tenancy apartment cleans
Experience
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is required
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
