We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, promoting oral health, and ensuring patient comfort. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with dentists and patients to deliver exceptional hygiene services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
- Perform medical imaging procedures as required to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and patient progress.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualised treatment plans for patients.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies,
- Ensure all equipment is sterilised and maintained according to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygiene licence or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
