We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Herdsperson to join our progressive 400-cow, spring-calving, grass-based dairy farm. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for pasture-based dairy farming.
Muir Farming will relocate its 400-cow crossbred herd from Staffordshire to Warwickshire in September 2026.
As part of a four-person team, you will help support and improve herd performance.

The Role
You will be involved in all areas of the dairy operation, including:
Daily herd management and milking
Grazing and grassland management
Monitoring herd health, fertility and performance
Calf rearing and youngstock management
Tractor work and general farm maintenance
Record keeping
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Practical dairy farming experience
Excellent stockmanship and strong attention to detail
AI training, a full UK driving licence and a telehandler licence
An organised, reliable and self-motivated approach
A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
Confidence operating farm machinery
A desire to build a long-term career in a progressive dairy business
What We Offer
Competitive salary £35k - £40k based on experience
Accommodation 3 or 2 bed farm cottage on farm (dependant on needs)
11 days on / 3 days off rota, with every other weekend off and a weekday off before your working weekend
