As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development, working alongside teachers and specialist staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
You will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups to enhance learning and achievement
- Promote independence, confidence and social inclusion
- Help maintain a safe, positive and productive learning environment
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Encourage positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policies
- Assist with classroom preparation, educational visits and wider school activities
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families and external professionals

Essential Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Experience of working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of all pupils
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with pupils with SEN and/or behavioural needs
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- De-escalation training (e.g. PRICE)
- Relevant education or childcare qualifications
Pay: £11,406.00-£19,820.00 per year
