Here at Baker Street Kitchen, we pride ourselves in delivering high quality casual daytime food at great value. We are looking for an experienced part time chef working 12-30 hours depending on demands of the business and holiday cover.
We offer a casual day time menu Monday - Sunday from 8am until 5pm which offers breakfasts, brunch, sandwiches, etc as well as classic main courses. On Sunday's we operate reduced hours, open 9-4. There me a rare occasion where we host an evening private event.
As Chef you will:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- work following all food hygiene aspects and deliver 5* standards, maintaining excellent documentation, cleaning and food safety standards
- Have a keen eye for cleaning
- Be guest focused, ensuring that the guests needs drives all decisions and behaviours
- Be a great team player, able to fit into a well established fun, relaxed friendly team
- Have a keen eye for detail maintaining a high quality casual daytime menu,
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu items based on trends and customer feedback.
