Overview
We are seeking an Assistant baker to join our team in our Production manufacturing . This position would be daytime, shifts would be during our core hours. Flexible start/end times for the right candidate.
We produce a variety of bakery goods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for weighing ingredients, preparing a variety of bakery items, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety are maintained at all times. Previous experience in a bakery environment is preferred, but essential.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of a range of bakery products, including cakes, cheesecakes, mousses, biscuits, and other baked goods.
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Support the team during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders without compromising quality.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in food production, food preparation, or baking is preferred, but not a essential .
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial environment.
