Batson Groundcare Ltd are looking for an experienced, driven Grounds Maintenance Operatives based in and around Tow Law, County Durham to join their team.
Grounds Maintenance duties include but are not limited to:
- Grass Cutting
- Hedge Cutting
- Strimming
- Weeding
- Application of Herbicide
- Edging
- Moss removal
- Shrub Border Maintenance
- Litter Picking
- Minor Vegetation Removal Works
- General area tidy up
Experience:
Main duties and responsibilities for this role include grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, clearing leaves, spraying, litter picking, and using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery to ensure all sites and external areas are maintained to a high standard.
To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about working outdoors and be prepared to work across agile and flexible environments. As a company we encourage our staff to take pride in all types of works completed, therefore high standards of work is expected from all our teams.
Essential Skills:
- Grounds Maintenance Experience
- Competant using grounds maintenance plant and machinery.
- A full UK driving license
- Enhanced DBS check (Certifictae will be ran by Batson Groundcare prior to starting unless a recent certificate can be provided.)
All operatives are required to report relevant information such as site hazards, health and safety issues, vehicles, machinery and equipment checks in accordance with health and safety procedures, and undertake additional training as and when required.
Candidates will need to have an Enhanced DBS certificate.
